Frequently asked questions
Is the tour suitable for vegans, vegetarians or other special diets?
The tour is NOT suitable for vegans or vegetarians, however it IS suitable for pescatarians (people who eat no meat but do eat fish/seafood). We try as much as possible to follow an authentic traditional Ibicenco meal, and fish and seafood are an integral part of that.
The tour is also not suitable for people with an allergy to gluten.
We will do our best to accommodate any other type of special diet. Please confirm any dietary requirements when you make your booking.

How many people will be on the tour?
Group Tours:
We offer a scheduled group tour every Friday, where single travellers, couples and smaller groups can join other foodies!
Or you can put your name on the waiting list for a different date.
Each tour will have a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 people.
It is possible to book for between 1 and 12 people, but a tour will only go ahead if there are a minimum of 4 people booked.
If less than 4 people have booked by 24 hours before the start of the tour, we will offer to either reschedule to a different date or make a full and immediate refund.
Private Tours:
For groups of 6 people and above you can book a private tour, for upto 12 people.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance of the start of the activity are refunded in full.
No refund is given for cancellations with less than 72 hours’ advance notice.
We will not cancel the tour in the case of bad weather, unless the weather makes it dangerous for the tour to go ahead.
Is the tour accessible?
We walk around 2km on the tour, within an urban area, crossing roads and sometimes walking on narrow pavements. There are no cobbled streets and there is no elevation. The places we visit are wheelchair accessible but unfortunately their bathrooms are not.
What is the food tour itinerary?
We meet in the centre of Ibiza Town where your guide will welcome you and share everything you need to know to understand why traditional Ibicenco food is as it is.
First stop is a bakery which opened in the 1970s, where we will try savoury pastries from centuries-old recipes
Next we head to an incredibly popular Ibicenco restaurant for five authentic tastings
Our third stop is a high end restaurant with a long history and fantastic views, where we will dig into Ibiza´s star dish, Bullit de Peix, and wash it down with Hierbas, the local drink of Ibiza
We will pause at two landmarks where we will share stories of hippies and pirates, whilst your stomaches take a rest before eating again!
We finish our evening in a restaurant which has been run by the same Ibicenco family for more than 80 years, where we will try two homemade, traditional desserts and a unique coffee
You have the choice to finish the tour in the final place, or your guide can walk you back to the meeting point.
